Privacy, in plain English
What we collect
While you browse, our servers see the pages you ask for and basic technical details such as your browser type, as any website does. If you use search, we look up your words to show results. If you type in the search box on this site, recent searches are kept in your own browser so you can reuse them, and you can clear them at any time.
How we use it
To show you the pages you asked for, keep the site working and fix problems. We will describe any new use, such as accounts or saved spots, here before we turn it on.
Businesses and AfterHours venues
Venues manage their own listing details. They do not receive your personal information from your browsing. Any future reporting to venues will be totals, not details about you.
Your choices
You can switch off recent searches and visit counting in Privacy choices, clear recent searches from the search page, and clear site data in your browser. To ask about your information, email hello@afterhours.africa.
This page is a plain-English draft. The final wording is being reviewed and may change before launch. Questions: hello@afterhours.africa.
